Intel Arc Battlemage (B-Series)

Intel Arc Battlemage (2024) is Intel's second-generation discrete GPU architecture, manufactured on TSMC N5 for substantially improved power efficiency and IPC vs Alchemist. Battlemage uses the Xe2 microarchitecture (16 vector engines + 16 matrix engines per Xe2-core) with improved ray tracing throughput, better rasterization efficiency, and enhanced XeSS 2 support (including DLSS 3 Frame Generation-equivalent using temporal upscaling + frame interpolation). The Arc B580 (20 Xe2-cores, 12GB GDDR6) and B570 (10GB) compete with NVIDIA RTX 4060 at 1080p/1440p gaming while delivering superior VRAM for the price bracket.
