✨ Upscaling Technology

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR)

FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) is AMD's open-source GPU upscaling framework. FSR 1 used spatial upscaling (similar to Lanczos). FSR 2 introduced temporal accumulation for sharper, ghosting-resistant results. FSR 3 added Fluid Motion Frames, AMD's frame generation technology powered by optical flow analysis. Unlike DLSS, FSR is hardware-agnostic — it runs on NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD GPUs, and is widely integrated into game engines including Unreal Engine 5.
