ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme
The ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme was ASUS's launch flagship for Intel Alder Lake and the LGA1700 socket, introducing PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 support to the consumer market. Two onboard Thunderbolt 4 ports deliver 40 Gbps bidirectional bandwidth, and the 20-phase ProCool II VRM effortlessly handles overclocked Core i9-12900K workloads. An embedded OLED LiveDash display, five M.2 slots, and 10 GbE LAN complete the feature set.
